Policies & Transfers

General Transfer Policies

All firearm transfers take place at the business location by appointment. Due to limited office space, visitors are asked to keep accompanying guests to a minimum. Firearms brought for transfer must be unloaded and safe handling procedures must be followed at all times.

On-Site Non-Profit Services

Mac’s Firearms Service is available to conduct transfers at auctions, banquets, fundraising events, and meetings hosted by qualifying non-profit organizations. Reduced transfer rates may apply based on volume and event requirements.

Multiple Firearm Purchases

Federal and state reporting requirements may apply when purchasing multiple firearms within certain time periods. Mac’s Firearms Service complies with all applicable reporting obligations.

Shipping Policies

Limited firearm shipping services are available when transferring firearms to another licensed FFL dealer. Customers should contact the business before arranging shipments.

Consignment Policies

Firearms may be sold on consignment for a fee equal to 10% of the final sale price. All consigned firearms become part of inventory and are subject to applicable federal regulations and transfer requirements.

Credit Card Processing

All advertised prices are cash prices. Credit card transactions are subject to an additional 3% processing fee.

Safety Lock Requirement

Federal law requires firearms sold through an FFL to include an approved safety lock. A lock can be supplied if needed.
